Faith Taylor currently oversees Wyndham Worldwide sustainability program called Wyndham Green which includes over 45 brands, over 36,000 employees and over 100,000 locations in 100 countries. She has overseen the development of the company’s corporate policies, strategies, reporting and branding initiatives since she started the Wyndham Green program in 2006. She is Chair of the Sustainability Working Committee of the World Travel & Tourism Council and Chair of the Board of Directors of the USGBC of New Jersey. She is a member of the International Tourism Partnership organizations where she has participated in setting industry standards like the Hotel Carbon Metric Initiative. Wyndham is a recognized corporate leader working with the Clinton Global Initiative and the Obama Better Building Challenge in setting industry programs for the built environment.

Under her leadership in 2013 Wyndham was ranked as one of the top 50 Greenest Companies in America by Newsweek and in 2014 was recognized by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index as both a World and North American leader in the Hotel, Resort and Cruise line sector and in 2014 the Carbon Disclosure Project recognized Wyndham as a leader in both performance and disclosure. In 2013, Wyndham Worldwide reduced their carbon emissions by 13% and water by 16% globally and 25% of its $2.1 Billion supply chain has met the Wyndham Green criteria.

During her tenure as Vice President of Innovation and Product development in the hotel group she successfully repositioned and rebranded the Wyndham Hotel & Resorts brand. The program resulted in sales leads increasing by over 250% and hotel deals that closed increasing over 50%.

She also created and launched Wyndham’s Blue Harmony program across three business units- a global spa and fitness program. She developed the strategies, branding, prototype specifications, new products, interior designs and financial models. Prior to this program launch, she oversaw the repositioning, P&L management and marketing for the Ramada International brand in both the U.S. and Canada. Her major accomplishments include taking the brand from a deficit position to a positive within 2 years; growing the brand’s Internet channel delivery by over 30% and improving the 28 Regional Marketing Associations revenues by over 200% versus prior year.

While at Avon Inc.for 10 years, she received rapid promotions in marketing and general management positions and oversaw businesses that ranged from $50 to $250 Million in categories ranging from jewelry & accessories, bath & body, fragrance and cosmetics.

She received the Chairman’s award for outstanding leadership in management and marketing performance in the U.S. and International markets. In 2014 she was named one of the Most Powerful and Influential Women in the Industry by the National Diversity Council. She has an MBA from the Wharton business school of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Stanford University. She is married with two children. She was born in Japan and is a military daughter of Asian and African American heritage.
